Yesterday I received my copy of the Adobe Creative Suite CS3 bundle, and although I just installed it I’m already very impressed. Adobe has made great strides with integrating their various design products, making it easier than ever to create, manage, and edit content for any medium. As a matter of fact, I’ve been using Adobe Contribute now for approximately five minutes with no prior experience, and I’m using it to publish this very post.

Although I’ve been using Photoshop, Premiere, and Acrobat for several years I’ve yet to even scratch the surface regarding some of the new capabilities provided by the CS3 versions, and a few of these tools are entirely new to me. In the coming weeks I’ll try to share my personal review of some of the new CS3 programs, such as Flash Professional, Photoshop Extended, Illustrator, FireWorks, Acrobat 8 Professional, Dreamweaver, Device Central, Contribute, Bridge and more.

Finding time to redevelop my design workflow and get up to speed on new software certainly isn’t easy, but I’m gambling that it’ll pay off in the long run for both my clients and I. Stop in occasionally over the new few months to see how that’s going, and find out which CS3 products and features I’m ranting or raving about then.
